Client: Apple Computer Inc.
15th June 2004
The Apple iTunes Music Store was launched through parts of Europe from Billingsgate Market, London, with more than 700,000 songs online. “Piracy is the biggest market for downloads—we have to understand it and offer a better product,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO (pictured). Every track in the store costs 79p (€0.99) and albums are priced from £7.99 (€9.99). The number one music download service is available for Mac and Windows and is scheduled for an October pan-European roll out.
