    Eurovision Song Contest Logo, Athens 2006

    The first versatile permanent identity we created for Eurovison is now in its third year.

    We update and maintain the online logo resource for EBU and T.E.A.M.

    In previous years, a new logo has been developed for each Eurovision Song Contest. Valuable identity work was effectively lost every year. It was decided to develop a permanent logo, it is envisaged that the logo we created will come to symbolise what has become a unique European institution.

    The Classical BRIT Awards 2006 Show programme

    The Show programme distributed at the RAH on the night carried detailed information on performers and all nominees as well as the nights running order and additional editorial.

    Advertising support included EMI Classics, HMV, Warner Classics, Universal Classics, Hyperion Records, Chandos Records, Sain Records and SonyBMG.

    The Classical BRIT Awards 2006 Point of Sale

    JME co-ordinated the Classical BRIT Awards retail promotion through BARD (the British Association of Record Dealers). Posters and headerboards and CD headercards were produced to promote the event in-store. Orders from both major chains and independent stores were collected and items produced and distributed.

    The BRIT Awards 2006 Show

    JME deliver and install extensive BRIT Awards branding and directional signage at the event.

    JME delivered and distributed 5,000 Paul Weller cover magazines plus show programmes at the event.

    Tickets and ticket booklets were produced for the show. In 2006 ticket/information booklets were created for Platinum, Gold, Show Only, Show & Party and Standing tickets.

    JME liaise with MJK Productions, Scream, LD Communications (TV, press and radio), BRITs TV, MasterCard, Somethin Else, Earls Court, Eat Your Hearts Out, Payne and Gunter and Show & Event Security.

    The BRIT Awards 2006 Show Programme

    The BRITs 2006 show programme was designed and produced by JME. First introduced by JME in 2004, The BRITs show programme is distributed free to every guest at the awards.

    The 28 page programme features quotes from all the nights performers, the full nominee listings, aftershow party and catering info and credits. It also provides information on The BRITs charitable work and includes an introduction by the chairman of the BRIT Awards.

    A revenue source and valuable B2B tool, this years programme carried ads from: Apple, THE (Total Home Entertainment), PPL (Phonographic Performance Ltd), Earls Court, Pinnacle, Gibson Guitars, Motorola, Raymond Weil and MasterCard.

    The BRIT Awards 2006 Magazine

    The centre-piece of the BARD (British Association of Record Retailers) retail promotion was The BRITs 2006 magazine that JME publish. A 72 page full colour A4 magazine, it included full listings of nominees plus exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names in the music business, including Kaiser Chiefs, KT Tunstall, James Blunt, Gorillaz, The Magic Numbers, Kano, Kelly Clarkson, Will Young and Paul Weller.

    Alongside the interviews the glossy magazine included features on Coldplay, Kanye West, Madonna and many other artists, as well as articles on last years show, BRITs fashion, The BRITs charity work and The BRIT school.

    In addition, there were exclusive photographs and comments from the official nominations launch at the Riverside Studios in London. Competitions were also run in the magazine and online, prizes included the £4,500 goodie bag given to presenters and performing artists.

    488,000 magazines were distributed nationwide including stores in Ireland. In addition 5,000 special Paul Weller cover versions were distributed at the Show itself.

    The BRIT Awards 2006 Ticket Booklets

    On the ticketing and pass systems JME work closely with BAL to ensure they are functional and secure.

    For 2006 a system was created including: Show tickets, laminates, wristbands, day stickies, parking tickets and printed lanyards shown on the following pages.

    The BRIT Awards 2006 Point of sale

    JME coordinate the BRIT Awards retail promotion through BARD (the British Association of Record Dealers). A series of promotional items are produced, orders taken and materials distributed in the biggest promotion of its kind.

    In addition to the magazine a range of merchandising, display items and stickers are produced to promote the awards pre and post show.Orders were collected from HMV, WHSmith, Virgin Megastores, Woolworths, ASDA, MVC, Music Zone, Safeway, J Sainsburys, Borders, Fopp , Choices UK, O2, and 67 independent music stores.

    Promotions ran nationwide for two weeks either side of the show. In all, over 3,000 stores across the country ran BRIT Awards promotions.

    The BRIT Awards 2006 Dualdisc CD

    The official CD/DVD was designed for SonyBMG Commercial this year. It was available to download via the BRITs website for the first time as well as being produced in the new DualDisc format.
