BRITs25 retail promotion

JME coordinate the BRIT Awards retail promotion through BARD (the British Association of Record Dealers). In addition to the magazine a range of merchandising, display items and stickers are produced to promote the awards pre and post show. Orders were collected from HMV, WHSmith, Virgin Retail, Woolworths, ASDA, MVC, Music Zone, Safeway, J Sainsburys, Borders, Fopp and 79 independent music shops. Stores were involved nationwide running promotions for around 10 days before the show to two weeks after. In all, over 3,000 stores across the country ran BRIT Awards promotions. In addition to the materials produced and supplied on behalf of BAL (BRIT Awards Ltd) we support promotional campaigns that are produced independently by retailers. This year Virgin Retail did a separate promotion with the official BRITs sponsor MasterCard. We provided an online system allowing downloads of master design elements and monitored designs on behalf of BAL, flagging up any potential issues.
